A Wedding of like-mindedness

Last night, Brian and I went to an unusual wedding. Before we left, I pulled the delight card. This usually means that I will end up connecting with a small group of people (Just like the angels in the card). The wedding involved kilts and bagpipes. It was extraordinary. Somehow, the event felt like a kind and queen were married. The groom is playing his pipes, above, just in front of the stage. At one point, he sang a Tom Jones song to his wife. It was truly touching and inspiring. They are jet set for Ireland tomorrow. I wish them well.

As for the like minded-ness...

Brian and I sat at the furthest table, away from everyone. After leaving our coats, and then returning sometime later, there were a few ladies sitting there chatting. We made small talk, and then they left to get food. When they came back, their husbands joined them. Within a few minutes, we began to explain how we knew the bride and groom. I explained that we are Reiki Masters and teach the Law of Attraction. Immediately, 3 of the 6 people perked up.  A woman named Bonnie said that she gets Reiki treatments, in Boston (Their home) Her husband, Peter, asked me if I could help him. He stood up, so I could 'scan' his energy field. I noticed distortions in his energy on his right shoulder, and his lower right abdomen. I pointed and touched the locations, twice. His wife immediately said, "She went right to it." Apparently, Peter had his appendix explode a few years back, and had several complications with it. I asked him if he's had 'mood' issues since then, and his wife said, "Yes!". 

I looked at Brian. This was WEIRD. The day before, Cheryl, my dear friend and nutritionist, had just confirmed that Brian's appendix scar is causing mood issues with him. His depression became bad after his appendix was removed, when he was 17 yrs. old. The likelihood of meeting another person, with the same issue, within 24 hours is unbelievable. It felt like spirit was talking to us directly. Fortuneatly, my friend Cheryl was at the wedding, as it was her brother that was just married! I introduced Peter to Cheryl, and with a few treatments, I think she can help him. He was intrigued by the Reiki and the Law of Attraction. When he asked about it, his mother in law offered to let him watch the movie when they got back to her house. As it turned out, she's in massage school at a satilite school of my massage school. Small world...or not. If you're me.

What about scars? Apparently there has been research about these nasty little buggers. Your body has a blueprint for function. Scars re-write this. Sometimes the new blueprint works, sometimes it really messes things up. I was a skeptic, until one of my clients realized that her hair started falling out after a pool injury, years and years ago. I've had digestive issues for the past 10 years; about the time I had 2 surgeries on my foot. WHY would spirit pair us with another group of like-minded people, who CAME TO US, with the same scar issue? Clearly, there is a message here.
